Support Your Symphony

Please join us in supporting the Honolulu Symphony's diverse community programs and concerts, which include the annual Hawaii Youth Concerto Competition; the Youth Music Education Program; the East Meets West concert series; and Concert Conversations, the Honolulu Symphony's educational lecture series.

The Honolulu Symphony Hawaii Youth Concerto Competition offers Hawaii's youth the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to perform with a world-class orchestra at a concert hall. Some young musicians will be motivated to continue in their studies and become professional musicians. Several past winners have become members of the Honolulu Symphony!

Each year, the Honolulu Symphony's Youth Music Education Program reaches more than 30,000 school children on Oahu. The Youth Music Education Program presents a series of full orchestra youth concerts, as well as ensemble concerts in schools, for pre-schoolers through high school students throughout the school year. The Youth Music Education Program offers the opportunity for children to visit the concert hall and for some, to experience a live symphony orchestra for the first time. For many of Hawaii's children, this may be their only exposure to the world of classical music.
