Season & Tickets

Amidst one of the worst financial crisis in the history of our country, the board of directors of the Honolulu Symphony Society was quickly faced with dwindling resources and an inability to generate the 5 million dollars from individual and corporate donors that it would take to complete the season. Having made a commitment to not put our orchestra on stage if the organization was unable to pay the musicians, the board of directors made the difficult but necessary decision to cancel the balance of the concerts planned for 2009-2010 season.

For more updates and information on our reorganization plans, please see the letter to our subscribers, the organizational analysis, or the March 23, 2010 press release.
