Honolulu – It’s time to roll out the red carpet for Honolulu Symphony holiday concerts! This holiday season, share the warmth and good cheer of festive music with the Symphony at concerts such as Motown Christmas with The Four Tops and The Spinners and Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony. In honor of America’s Armed Forces, the Symphony is offering a special 50% discount off all holiday concert tickets to military and their families, including Reservists, National Guard and Retirees. Military discount tickets for concerts such as Motown Christmas and Burt Bacharach start from as low as $8.50! Tickets are on sale now at the Honolulu Symphony Box Office at the Dole Cannery, all Ticketmaster outlets and all Times Supermarkets.
Bells will be ringing as pop music legends The Four Tops and The Spinners join the Honolulu Symphony Pops for a Motown Christmas at the Blaisdell Arena on December 7 and 8. Don’t miss the hit parade, featuring the season’s merriest holiday songs and Motown favorites such as “Baby I Need Your Loving,” “Working My Way Back to You,” “Reach Out I’ll Be There,” and “I Can’t Help Myself (Sugar Pie Honey Bunch).”
Motown Christmas concertgoers are invited to bring a toy to the concert to donate to the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program. All toy donors receive a 20% discount coupon off a Symphony ticket purchase. Please join the Honolulu Symphony and donate a toy for a child in our community!
On December 29 and 30, Maestro Andreas Delfs conducts Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony in two concerts that ring in the New Year with one of music’s greatest masterpieces. A holiday tradition around the world, Beethoven’s Ninth inspires concertgoers to greet the New Year with hope and optimism.
America’s favorite songwriter, Burt Bacharach, returns to Honolulu for three highly-anticipated concerts with the Honolulu Symphony Pops on January 4, 5 and 6. The creator of such classics as “Raindrops Keep Falling On My Head,” “What the World Needs Now Is Love,” “The Look Of Love,” and “That’s What Friends Are For,” Bacharach takes us on a musical journey that starts the New Year in the perfect direction.
Everyone is invited to celebrate the season of peace and goodwill with splendid symphonic music, featuring traditional classics and contemporary favorites. This holiday season, relax and unwind with magnificent music and share special times together with the Honolulu Symphony!

Multi-talented composer and pianist Burt Bacharach kicks off the New Year with unforgettable songs such as “(There’s) Always Something There To Remind Me,” “Do You Know The Way To San Jose?” “Promises, Promises,” and “That’s What Friends Are For.” Also featured are Bacharach’s compositions for film scores such as “Casino Royale,” “Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid,” and “Arthur.” Tickets start from $14. Family members of all groups are also eligible. The Honolulu Symphony Pops Motown Christmas with The Four Tops and The Spinners spotlights the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program, which distributes Christmas gifts to needy children in our community. Marines will collect new, unwrapped toys at each Pops concert: Friday, December 7 at 8 p.m. & Saturday, December 8 at 8 p.m. at the Blaisdell Arena. All donors will receive a thank you coupon for 20% off their next Honolulu Symphony ticket purchase.
