The Symphony Mentor residency program (formerly known as “Resource Teacher”) places Honolulu Symphony musicians in school orchestra or band programs to help improve the skills and musicality of individual students as well as whole sections of the band or orchestra. These master teachers coach and play alongside students, and are also available to help school music directors with program development.

The Symphony Mentor residency program is a service of the Honolulu symphony and there is no charge to participating schools.
