Programs for Families & Community
Each year the Honolulu Symphony brings music into the lives of over 20,000 youth and their families through Education and Community Outreach programs. These specially crafted offerings promote the love of music and music-making in our island communities.
- Open Rehearsals: A program for 7-12 graders (and adults too!) that provides rare glimpse into the workings of a symphony orchestra.
- Community Concerts: These free concerts bring the community together and take place in community churches, schools, and even in the out–of–doors.
- Nurturing Tomorrow’s Artists: Helping students with Composition and Opera reading
