The Honolulu Symphony is committed to our community
Each year, the Symphony brings music into the lives of over 30,000 children. Special Youth Concerts at the Neal Blaisdell Concert Hall give Hawaii's students a taste of the Symphony experience. Symphony ensembles travel across the island to give Hawaii's children musical encounters that are up-close and personal. And as teachers, role models and mentors, Symphony musicians prepare Hawaii's children to carry on a tradition of artistic excellence.
A large part of the Symphony's mission is dedicated to enriching the lives of all of Hawaii's children through accessible and affordable music education programs. Unfortunately, current funding levels are unable to support the expansion of our programs to the neighbor islands or remote, rural areas of Oahu. We ask your help in supporting our effor to provide quality music education to all of Hawaii's youth.
